Tailor & Thread is a prestigious London-based brand renowned for its exquisite tailored suits. Each piece is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every suit fits its wearer with precision. Tailor & Thread uses only the finest fabrics and techniques, creating garments that stand as symbols of quality and personal style. With a commitment to crafting elegantly refined suits, they deliver a bespoke experience where every suit becomes a true reflection of its owner.
// DESIGN CONCEPT
Our aim was to evoke a sense of sophistication within the brand identity for Tailor & Thread, which led us to carefully select a font that conveys both tradition and elegance in the logotype and monogram. The colour palette was chosen to reflect the luxurious materials and craftsmanship related to high-end tailoring, inspired by fabrics like cashmere and silk. Furthermore, we challenged ourselves to craft a unique monogram, made from two "t”s, creating the outline of a suit.
// CLIENT BRIEF
Tailor & Thread wanted their brand identity to reflect how their suits make customers look and feel: elegant and confident. This led us to choose a high-contrast typeface, capturing the class and luxury of each garment. Additionally, the colour palette needed to convey a sense of professionalism and masculinity, which guided our final selections. This is a made-up brief and brand, created as an experimental passion project.
