Striq is a modern running app built for dedicated runners who are serious about breaking personal bests and staying consistent in their training. With personalised training plans, in-depth performance analysis, and custom-made playlists designed to match target paces, Striq sets itself apart as a bold, disruptor brand in the running space, ready to outshine the competition and build a community of enthusiastic athletes.
// DESIGN CONCEPT
For this project, we identified repetition as a key visual motif, from the ideas of strides, rhythm, consistency, and training streaks. We also wanted to capture a sense of motion within the brandmark to reflect that this is a brand built for athletes and inspired runners. A vibrant gradient was used, combining colours that evoke energy, passion, and happiness. Additionally, the tagline “Turn on your Striq” influenced our decision to transform the letter 'Q' into a rotated power button.
// CLIENT BRIEF
Striq identified a gap in the market for a running app that connects the rhythm of a runner’s strides with the rhythm of music. This idea of synchronisation was reflected in the identity through repetition. We chose a bold, energetic colour palette to match the intensity of the music and the runner’s momentum, incorporating fiery tones to symbolise heat, streaks, and consistency. Striq also aimed to build a strong, cohesive presence across social media and collateral.
