Aesop briefed us to design a digital invite and printed card to accompany gifted products for recipients attending their Spring Equinox fragrance event. We needed both touchpoints to feel connected, whilst still acting differently. Furthermore, we challenged ourselves to focus on how they would both be experienced.
// Solution
For the printed card, we explored embossing the title to create a more sensory experience without adding unnecessary elements. Through this, the layout became calmer and more aligned with Aesop's visual style. For the digital invite, we refined the hierarchy and spacing to make the copy feel clearer and less crowded. We identified that the digital invite served a more informational purpose, whereas the printed card was designed to evoke more emotion, forming part of the gifting experience.
